Liam, Brandon, and Glenn met in the military and bonded over a shared love of tabletop gaming, speculative fiction, and mid-shelf whiskey. Among them they have thirty-seven tattoos and nearly one full head of hair.

Valerie and Glenn met in Medieval Latin class, and since then have shut down bars in four countries on two continents. Also, they fought a T-Rex together once.
