Here is my review/reflection on episode one of Picard and also a little bit about why I love TNG so much. Let me know your thoughts on the series so far and your hopes for the rest of the season.

I was ruing this day. I don't really care for but also don't really care about the JJ Verse. But I really didn't want the destruction of Romulus to be a thing in the Prime Universe even though that's how Prime Universe Spock wound up in those movies.
In the TNG universe but they link it to the JJ Verse, by acknowledging the Romulan Supernova is canon and Picard and co experienced it, it's the key event that triggers Picard's retirement. However it's very much in TNG timeline, if that makes sense?
So is Picard supposed to be in the TNG universe or the Bad Robot Star Trek movie universe?
