You're aways away from there, I know, but given how ahead of time you record you may not be as far as I think. So I wanted to flag this little essay I wrote about (one page) of the issue. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

Just in case you find it thought-provoking for your discussion.
Oh, marvelous! This, of course, is one of my favorites (it's one of everybody's, right, and it won the Hugo), and I'm excited to get there.
I'm going through the series for the first time right now. It might just be because I done ain't got none of that book learnens, but I didn't really dig this story. I didn't hate it, I just don't get what the big deal is. Again, maybe it's my lack of book learnens. I didn't think the previous one about cats was too cool, either. I should read your blog before I barge in here with me complaints.
You're not the only one. This came up at PhilCon over the weekend, too, also with someone who is new to the series. I've also heard people complain that what Gaiman did was abridge Shakespeare and add some drawings ... and maybe you shouldn't get an award for that. All of this just makes me more excited to read it again for the first time in twenty years, after having developed an addiction to Shakespeare and having seen this particular play more times than is probably healthy. And having discovered Gene Wolfe, too.
