    House of Leaves?

    in Elder Sign

Any possibility of the show covering House of Leaves? I'm pretty sure the guys mentioned the idea in passing on some show. Is this likely to happen? Do other people like the idea? What do we need to do? I loved the novel even though I'm sure I missed a lot.

House of Leaves is a real hate-it-or-love-it book (e.g. read the reviews on Goodreads or when it is mentioned on Reddit) - I am definitely on the loving side and it certainly is weird fiction.

I read it multiple times (and even tried to untangle the footnotes - free tip: don't do it) and every time saw something different.

I agree with Glenn; I think it (like Sandman) even could cover a podcast on its own. But I think Glenn and Brandon are busy enough now ;-)

Sure, that makes sense. I hope it comes about! I'd love to hear you guys dissect it.

Hi Jeff! We both love this book. We wouldn't ever do it on Elder Sign as part of our regular content because it would take over the show for a year to do it that way, but I'd love to find another way to do a short series on it. I can't imagine reading the book again without talking it over with Brandon because it really got me the first time I read it twenty years ago.
